Is this thing on?

I’ve been going through some of the many files in my office, starting to further sort a lot of the stuff that I just threw in appropriate files during my BTU. Its great, I keep finding odd bits of stuff I wrote ages ago, mainly bits and pieces of martial arts notes from way back when that I obviously meant to refer to again sometime. Thing is I am being relatively organised about them now as I am keeping a running index of cool stuff to refer back to in my notebook now and I am really looking forward to getting stuck into expanding on some of this stuff.

I think I may well try to get up at a sensible time tomorrow and get on with it, loads more cool stuff to get distracted by.

Suitably inspired by the fact that my office is still tidy a month after my BTU I am now stuck into the rest of the house…

When I consider that last year I threw out several bin-bags worth of old magazines away, I cant quite figure out why I still have 5 (yes FIVE) bags full to take to the recycling bin today….

My early night plan meant that I woke up, even lazed around for a bit putting off the inevitable acto of actually getting up, and was still pleasantly suprises when I looked at my phone to see it was in fact only 10:45.

Tomorrow it seems entirely likely that I’ll finally get to get on with that that BTU…

Of course, I did start at the weekend, but what with the rift in the time-space continuum caused by the less than fluffy events on the forum and Kel’s birthday yesterday I got a bit off track… oops

Anyway, I’ve just spent a very pleasant couple of hours talking shite and sharing some gnu choonz with Yak and it seems I was helpful in cheering him up some which leaves me feeling a little more at ease than I have these past couple of days.

Also, it seems (fingers crossed) that my ear infection has sorted itself out and all things considered I’m feeling pretty positive. So, on that happy note I think I’ll get an early night (bloody ell, in bed before 3am is a very early night by my standards, then I can get up bright and early (i.e. before noon) tomorrow and crack on with it.

I shall be a very happy chappy to see this lot sorted

BTU Progress so far is mildly encouraging.. I believe there may in fact be a light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, I went to Office World, bought a bunch of filing boxes, and now instead of a mildly untidy office I am now sitting in the middle of a warzone.

To top it all I’m feeling rather shite at the mo… I seem to have a bit of an ear infection and the early stages of a sore throat.

I spent most of the afternoon wandering around on random mode which didnt help as part II of the mission was to find Kel a birthday pressie. Wanted to buy her a nice ring so we were on the hunt and did eventually find one but they didnt have it in her size… arsies… Was weird though, where I am a bit off colour I felt like I was off my tits for a while, and it didnt cost owt either

Anyway, I’m going to try to make a concerted effort with the BTU tomorrow, I wanted to get this done at the start of the month and it is starting to piss me off now so I reckon a bloody good day at it will cheer me up no end. Got fun stuff awaiting my attention… needs to be done!

Well I finally started on my long overdue BTU (Big Tidy Up) today.

The hardest bit is the in-between stage when you feel you are surrounded by an even bigger pile of crap than the one you are trying to tidy up in the first place…

Going to go into town tomorrow to get some file archive boxes from PC world so that I can actually stash some of this stuff away somewhere in a a semi-organised manner.

I suspect the end result may involve a certain amount of swearing….

Oh, and I’ve got an earache…..
