Most excellent sesh in the gym last night, and don’t my arms know it today
Starting to formulate a plan already for my own mini-ultimate-test-thingy. I intend to include goals different areas including not only physical/fitness challenges but also a wide variety of other areas as covered in the UBBT…
So far, my goals for the 12 month plan include the following:-
- Complete at least 1000 reps in the gym every week, including weights and abs exercises (did 250 last night for starters).
- Attend at least 6 seminars with instructors I have not trained with before
- Read (and study) 12 books on personal success/achievement
- Get qualified in a healing art (such as reiki or something similar)
- Facilitate 1000 acts of courtesy, kindness and respect through my school
- Raise at least £5200 for charity
- Keep a weekly journal of my progress
- Inspire 5 other people to take up the same challenge
This list will probably grow over the next week and my first priority is to have my goals list finalised by next weekend so I can start my challenge properly on June 1st.
Nice quick workout, shower, NCoT.
Sorted
Bonus : Kel’s leftover curry from last night in the fridge for lunch!
It seems that my plan to shift to a slightly more conventional timezone may be working as I managed to fall out of bed at 9:30 this morning without the aid of a crane..
I’m just off to test stage 2 of the plan with a quick session in the gym. I have blocked out a set of early morning (well ok, not *early* but first thing when I get up) work-outs every day over the next couple of weeks to help me ramp up to some fairly intensive training again. So, in about 30 minutes time I’ll prolly be posting again to say that I am either :
a) Feeling fantastic as I am surfing on a wave of endorphins and adrenaline, or
b) I’m fucked, pass the bacon sarnie will you…
Grr… got woken up early this morning by the phone ringing which is double annoying as when the answering machine kicked in they hung up, which is just bloody ignorant.
Anyway, I did have a plan for this week to crack on with some personal training so I took advantage of that to get my arse into gear and get in the gym. Just did a really quick energiser for 10 minutes and the plan is to get out there every day and start out likewise, working up to about a 30 minute daily wake up workout…
