Found a mini Apple Store in Prague Old Town 
It was a totally random find whilst wandering around - It’s on Revoluční street, which is the main street that heads north towards the river from the front of the big Palladium shopping arcade place. (Map)
According to their website they seem to have several branches dotted around the place too if you’re feeling the need to recharge the tech lust whilst in Prague..

So, the GNU XBAWKS EXPERIENCE! dropped this morning.
Bit odd that my 360 wasn’t seeing it even through multiple log out/ins. One of the YakYak massive suggested running the network test in setting, which I did and as soon as it hit XBox live the notification popped up.
I’ve only had a very quick squizz round but I’m liking what I see so far. Not sure about the friends view, it would be nice to just see a list, but I’m liking the fact they’ve finally sorted out the file system and it’s caching stuff properly at last.
Currently installing CoD5 to HD, CoD4 next!

Even better - Bog informs me that those frames were taking 2 hours each on the renderfarm. That’s until it gave up and died.
My Mac was churning them out at 20mins a frame
Friend Bog’s got a big 3d job he needs to get out the door before heading off stateside next week, so I’ve offered all the spare clock cycles on my Mac to share some of the rendering load.
Lightwave is currently chunking away over on the other screen, rendering a scene out in full HD res and yet I’m sat here with a DVD ripping, whilst watching a video, uploading the next 100meg or so to FTP and noodling on the net with absolutely no sign that my Mac even thinking about breaking a sweat…

So, the UPS bloke picked up my 360 earlier to go off to MS for repair.
His comment as he picked it up was “I could do with a bigger van just for these bloody things..”
Hmmm…. 
Started trawling through all the old entries ported over from my old Livejournal blog to set the post levels and add some tags etc. Ok, it’s not strictly necessary but I hate seeing everything just filed under ‘uncategorised’.
So far, I’ve tagged about half of 2004. This could take some time!
